You scroll through Instagram and see friends from college backpacking through Southeast Asia. Your college roommate just got back from Iceland. Your coworker won't stop talking about that trip to Portugal. And you? You've been meaning to book something for months.
The truth is, traveling alone feels overwhelming. Traveling with the wrong people feels worse. And your friends back home are scattered across different time zones with different vacation schedules.
What we're doing about it
We started NWA Roam because we believe the best trips happen with people who get it—young professionals who want to see the world without the cringe of organized tours, who value authentic experiences over Instagram moments, and who understand that sometimes the best nights are the unplanned ones.
We organize small group trips to places that actually matter. No forced activities, no name tags, no tour buses. Just well-planned logistics and the freedom to explore with people worth traveling with.
This is for people who want to wake up in Morocco, hike through Wadi Rum, or get lost in Tokyo's side streets—with a group that feels more like friends than strangers.
How it works
Tell us which destinations interest you. We handle the planning—flights, accommodations, and a loose itinerary that leaves room for spontaneity. You show up and actually enjoy the trip instead of coordinating group chats and arguing about Airbnb listings.
Groups are kept small (8-12 people) so you can actually get to know everyone. We focus on experiences that feel authentic, not touristy. And we only go places we'd actually want to visit ourselves.
Who we are
We're a small team based in Fayetteville who got tired of talking about travel and decided to make it happen. We're not a massive tour company. We don't have fancy offices. We're just people who believe that life's too short to keep putting off that trip.
